The fortress of Voila is located 800m from the village of Handras, 25Km south of Sitia.

Voila was a small medieval village. In the area now there are mainly ruins.

Among them stands out the high tower of Genna which is in relatively good condition, the small ruined church of Jinali, the church of Agios Georgios which was built in the 15th century and has the coat of arms and the family tomb of the Solomons and finally the fountain of Voila .
